Pronomes Indefinidos: some, any, no + derivados

 

Pronomes Indefinidos

Na língua inglesa são várias as palavras específicas quando queremos falar de algo indefinido. Estudaremos algumas delas.

 1. Some: alguns, algumas. Use em frases afirmativas.

 - I have some coins.              (Tenho algumas moedas)

- The baby has some toys.    (O bebe tem alguns brinquedos)

 

2. Any: algum, alguma (em frases interrogativas) e nenhum, nenhuma (em frases negativas)

 - Do you have any coin?       (Você tem alguma moeda?)

- I don't have any coin.          (Eu não tenho nenhuma moeda)

 3. No: nenhum, nenhuma. Usado em uma frase com verbo na afirmativa dando sentido negativo.

 - I have no money!                (Eu não tenho nenhum dinheiro)

- No money, no book!           (Nenhum dinheiro, nenhum livro!)

 Esses três pronomes indefinidos possuem seus derivados quando recebem sufixo. Veja a tabela abaixo:

Someway	De alguma maneira	I'll get there someway. (Chegarei lá de alguma maneira)
Com any
Anybody	Ninguém (-) ou alguém (?)	Can anybody help me? (Alguém pode me ajudar?)
Anyone	Qualquer um, ninguém	I don't know anyone here. (Não conheço ninguém aqui)
Anything	Nada	I didin't have anything in my hand. (Eu não tinha nada na mão)
Anywhere	Qualquer lugar	I'd go anywhere with you. (Iria em qualquer lugar com você)
Anyway	De qualquer jeito, forma	Anyway, we met them. (De qualquer forma, nós os encontramos)
Com no
Nobody	Ninguém	I have nobody here. (Não tenho ninguém aqui)
No one	Ninguém	No one is my friend. (Ninguém é meu amigo)
*None	Nenhum, nenhuma	None of them is my relative. (Nenhum deles é meu parente)
Nothing	Nada	I have nothing in my hand. (Não tenho nada em minha mão)
Nowhere	Em nenhum lugar	Where are you going? Nowhere. (Onde vai? Nenhum lugar)
No way	De jeito nenhum	Let's go there? No way! (Vamos lá? De jeito nenhum!)

 *None: usado sempre no início da frase seguido de of ou sozinho.

 - None of my students is short. (Nenhum dos meus estudantes são baixos)

- Which book did you take? None. (Qual dos livros você pegou? Nenhum.)
